Votre guide anglophone vous prendra en charge à votre hôtel de Bangkok à 8:00. Départ à destination du parc historique d'Ayutthaya. Cette ancienne capitale glorieuse située à 80 km de Bangkok fut détruite par l'armée birmane en 1767 et est désormais un site classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Un grand nombre d'incroyables palais et des temples s'y dressent encore.

Les principaux sites comprennent les gigantesques statues en bronze de Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit, ainsi que Wat Phra Sri Sanphet et Wat Yai Chai Mang Khon.

Vous visiterez le pittoresque Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon et Wat Lokayasutharam. Wat Phra Sri Sanphet est le principal complexe de temples datant de l’âge d'or d'Ayutthaya. Visitez l'ancien palais et Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit, l'une des plus grandes statues en bronze de bouddha en Thaïlande.

À midi, vous pourrez profiter d'un savoureux déjeuner thaï (inclus). Ensuite, visitez le superbe Wat Mahthat, l'un des anciens monastères bouddhistes les plus imposants. Ce temple est situé sur la rive du fleuve Chao Praya. Le roi Prasat Thong autorisa sa construction dont l'architecture s'inspire du style khmer. Il constitue l'un des plus beaux temples d'Ayutthaya et une attraction touristique majeure. Découvrez le palais royal de Bang Pa-In, l'ancienne résidence d'été des rois d'Ayutthaya au XVIIe siècle.

Promenez-vous dans le superbe domaine du palais d'été de Bang Pa-In. Surplombant les cours d'eau et les nombreux bâtiments, le curieux mélange de styles européens du début du XXe siècle contraste avec le pavillon chinois et thaïlandais.

Après la visite, vous serez ramené à votre hôtel aux alentours de 17:00.

Our guide was very friendly and highly informative. Miss Supatsara Wonghong continually ensured that we were having a good time and that we had what we needed to enjoy the tour, whether that be water, an umbrella to escape the heat, or easy access to a restroom.

The only way to see Ayutthaya is with a guide and driver. The city is very expansive and without a guide it would be overwhelming. Rose spoke excellent English and was able to shepherd us through the archeology, provide spiritual context, explain the history of who built the city as well as the stories of many invasions. We covered many areas and each was more beautiful than the one before. I should also mention the amazing buffet lunch. It was an extraordinary day made meaningful with the help of our guide and driver. As I said at the beginning, this is the only way to visit Ayutthaya.

firstly about the company - this was the 3rd time i used Mam Holidays Ltd for a tour in Bangkok. Very professional and prompt. . The cars are very comfortable, driver is good and guides knowledgeable. After visiting over 60 countries and doing tours in most, i have found the best guides are passionate about their country/city, and the guides that work for Mam Holidays Ltd certainly are, especially the lady that i've had as a tour guide twice Miss Supatsara Wonghong Khun Aey. As far as the sites go, if you like temples and palaces this is a must from Bangkok. I've included some pics so you know what you will see.

Tour guide was nice and considerate, but her English was so bad we couldn't understand 90 of the things she said, nor could she understand most of our questions. There's not real added value than hiring a taxi and tour around myself.

We had the best time with Aey in Ayutthaya -- wonderful service where she and her driver picked us up from our hotel in Bangkok and embarked on a day long trip in Ayutthaya. First we saw the summer palace and then we visited three Wats, in addition to picking up lunch. Because my mother was not feeling well, Aey was very considerate about the amount of walking, and also arranged for a vegetarian meal for lunch not easy in Thailand!. Aey was also easy to understand, and she also played the role of our photographer during the tour. Highly recommended, and extremely good value for the price.
