We've done a few of these Hop-On Hop-Off tours, and this one was as good as the rest. Ideal if you want to go to the big spas and zoo area.
Oh my. We watched bus after bus of two other hop on hop off companies go by as we repeatedly waiting way beyond the time the bus was due for one of this company to come. As one person said, "hop on, don't get off!". The people on the bus were great, but the service was very unreliable. The other options are more expensive, but certainly worth the extra cost.
Liked the riverboat and the walking tour but the bus itself was too hot and probably not environmentally good as stood for ages with engine running. HOWEVER everyone very helpful
decent all around Budapest tour.
This was the first tour that we took to familiarize ourselves with Budapest. It was perfect and I strong recommend this tour.
The guide writing the ticket should explain a little further about the durability and other options. I wanted to take the walking tour but it was difficult to take a red line hop on and hop off bus and be there in time so had to walk. you should look at the timing. The tour guide for the walking tour was very good.
A very good bus ride you will see all of budapest and i mean all of budapest .its a very long ride.if u dont use hop on hop off .
This was our third visit to Budapest, but we had a 48 hour ticket on the Hop-on Hop-off bus again. It's always the best way to see this, or any city. The only hitch was connecting to the 'Green Castle Bus'. It wasn't clear how this worked and after waiting for quite a while, we decided to take the Funicular. Otherwise it was good value. The boat trip was good when we managed to find the dock and the bus stops were not easy to be found since their is another company.
