Good overview but because streets are so narrow we missed a lot of great attractions. Only did Pest side of river but no "Shoes" memorial, no synagogue, no ruin bars
Very complete service: bus, boat and night city tour. And the shuttle to the Buda Castle. I recommend it indeed!!!
We really enjoyed the Budapest Hop-on Hop-off tour. We took advantage of the walking tour and the riverboat tour. Both were great. Zoltz - not sure of spelling - was our guide for walking tour. Very knowledgeable about Hungarian history. He is a school teacher and you could tell he enjoyed teaching. Loves his country. We were able to navigate around the city and see the sights with the Hop-on Hop-off bus. Real value.
The Big Bus tour has many routes to provide to tourists seeking to learn more about a particular landmark or museum. The tour will definitely cover all of the major sites like Buda Castle and Matyas Church, but other lesser know sites as well. Very well done.
Great tour, understandable commentary and good value for price paid. It’s a great way to get an overview of the city.
In all printed documents it is shown that • Green Route: Castle/Funicular stop (Clark Adam Square) (and same as for Blue Route) are included. However, when we tried to use it on a green bus, we were told it is not included and only a three day tour includes it. Furthermore, in exchange for printed vouchers we got back tickets which had no details for the walking tour or a night bus. And that made our usage limited to pretty much a red line bus. Quite a disappointment, sorry. PS. Hopefully your records show that I have used your services in many countries and cities around the Globe.
The hop on hop off gave us an overview of Budapest prior to striking out on our own. It saved a lot of walking. It’s stops were convenient. I often use them the first day in a new city to get my bearings.
The 'Big Bus' was wonderful. However, it does stop running very early in the evening so chart out your tip before you begin to ensure you are where you need to be at 5PM when the bus stops.
Very useful for tourists.
