I had a fun day but the only issue I had was the organisation of arriving at the Tango show. I was not informed that when I arrived I had to check in and I was really confused. Also, I would have been better off without the transfer, I waited 40 mins to discover it was a 15 min walk from my hotel. I should have been given the option not to take the transfer.

Avoid Viator if you are cruising. What a mess. Before leaving USA spent days calling intl # provided to Grey Line Argentina for pick up arrangements- got hung up on etc. In Uruguay night before due to arrive we knew ship would be very very late. Emailed address provided. Ship arrived hours late - we alerted company via ship's phone. Too bad - out first two tours $$ non-refundable. Assured we would still get evening Tango tour. With many other guests at designated terminal spot for bus pick up. We went 1/2 hour early because we were given two different times for pick up with each phone call. Cruise connection, Ship Mate, and other vendor guests picked up by bus - but NO one for Viator/Grey Line Argentina (the VIATOR vendor). I begged the bus driver to let us go with them to Cafe Los Angelitos - he calls Grey Line - supposedly will send a car. I beg him not to leave us. He photos my eticket voucher, sends it to someone, finally after 10 minutes (annoying of course all the others on the bus) kind Gustavos lets us on bus. At the tango site, we get separated from all the other non Viator/Grey line Argentina ticket holders and put in lousy table. Eventually Cafe managers feel sorry for us and do something nice. AVOID VIATOR. It's a mess. Viator takes NO responsibility for third party vendors and we had bad luck with the vendor themselves. Too much drama and anxiety - although the Tango at Cafe Los Angelitos was magnificent.

3 parts to this tour. The morning - Tigre delta river cruise - a total YUCK! Spent a lot of time waiting around to be told river level was too low but they will put us on another boat with an equal experience. Turns out, it was overcrowded - no place for everyone to sit even. We had to sit under hot sun for the whole trip - staring at the crowd standing in front of us. No guide talking so no idea what we were seeing. Guide was apologetic saying it was not her fault but I reminded her she worked for that company. What a waste of a valuable day! Afternoon - city cruise. Good tour but poor planning. The morning finished by dropping off everyone who only did the morning taking 1 hour. Then another hour picking up those for the afternoon. Not given any option to stop for lunch. Managed to grab a pastry at the first 15 min stop. The rest of city tour was decent - route was cut short because of bad traffic. La Boca was truly amazing - but we were only given 20 mins there. We plan to spend a whole day there again. We took a cab home as we headed north because it was already 6 and needed to be ready for night pick up. Night - The tango show was wonderful and we enjoyed dinner. We were tired after spending so much time in the sun and so much time dropping and picking people up. At least there was a decent ending to the otherwise awful day.

The tour was wonderful and everything went as advertised. We learned so much about the city's history and racist culture in the way that they murdered the black slaves and indigenous people in order to sanitize the country. The Flamingo dinner was wonderful and high energy. The Tigre Delta River Cruise was so relaxing and beautiful.

This was a crazy day. Individually, each of the tours was fine, BUT too much to do in one day. We had no time for lunch, and it would have been better to separate this into two days. One for the city sightseeing tour and really the hop on hop off bus would have been better and then a second day for the Tigre Delta River Cruise and tango show. Or put the tango show with the city tour. The day was just too packed, and seemed way to rushed. Also, we spent a lot of time on the bus, and not enough time at the various venues. I probably should have paid more attention to the description and signed up for a walking tour of the city and a tango show, and then the river cruise separately.

This tour consisted of three parts. We were picked up at our hotel in the morning for the Tigre Delta River Tour, with one stop along the way to see a museum. We had a chance to pick up lunch own expense prior to boarding the boat. The River Tour was interesting. After that, we were dropped off at another hotel to board a different bus for the afternoon portion of the city tour with a different guide. We visited Palermo, Recoleta including Recoleta Cemetery, San Telmo and La Boca. Stops included Mayo Square/ Cathedral and the market at La Boca. Both morning and afternoon guides were very good. The stop at the Cemetery was quite rushed - largely consisted of a walk to Eva Perron's mausoleum. To be fair, we saw a lot considering the traffic is heavy and slows down the progress from one stop to another. After the city Tour, we were dropped off back at our hotel about 6:00 and picked up again later for dinner and Tango Show at Portenos. The show was very well done. Although it was a long day, it seemed fairly relaxed and the break before supper gave us a chance to re-charge for the evening dinner and tango show. As we only had one day in Buenos Aires, this tour provided the best way to see as much as possible.
