Le Plateau de Gizeh se trouve à 30 minutes seulement du Caire. Votre guide égyptologue qualifié vous y présentera une introduction fascinante sur chacune des trois pyramides de Gizeh : Khéops, Khéphren et Mykérinus. Vous disposerez de temps libre pour pénétrer à l'intérieur des pyramides (moyennant un supplément), bien que votre guide ne soit pas autorisé à y entrer avec vous, ou pour faire une balade en chameau (moyennant un supplément).
Après la visite des pyramides, vous traverserez le plateau pour pouvoir prendre de fabuleuses photos des trois pyramides émergeant des sables avec la ligne des toits du Caire en toile de fond. A quelques minutes en bus, en bordure de la ville sur le plateau, vous découvrirez le Sphinx, symbole énigmatique de l'Egypte depuis des millénaires. À Giza, vous pouvez également visiter le Musée de la Barque Solaire (en option) qui abrite le bateau funéraire remarquablement bien conservé de Khéops.
Vous ferez ensuite escale à Saqqarah, où se trouve la plus ancienne pyramide d'Égypte, construite en 2650 av. J.-C. Votre guide vous présentera un bref historique de la célèbre Pyramide à degrés et vous disposerez également de temps libre pour explorer les alentours.
Vous vous arrêterez enfin à Memphis, l'ancienne capitale d'Égypte. Vous y découvrirez des objets ayant appartenu à de nombreux grands souverains d'Egypte, y compris la statue couchée de Ramsès II. Vous aurez également l'opportunité de visiter un Institut de papyrus pour découvrir comment ces célèbres œuvres d'art sont fabriquées.

Our tour guide gave us a great day in Cairo seeing so many impressive and significant sites. We enjoyed his knowledge and passion for Egypt. I would recommend him for future visits.

This was the highlight of our tour and that's also because of our guide - Ahmed. He was an absolute delight, incredibly chatty and knowledgable and so eager to give us information about Egypt and the sights we saw. He talked to us about the history of Egypt as well as Egyptian life in the 21st century. He was happy to chat to us about anything! We also had additional stops on the tour including a camel ride in Giza to see the 9 pyramids, a visit to an Egyptian Cotton shop, the papryus institute and a visit to a carpet/rug making shop. The pyramids and Sphinx in Giza is mindblowing, the statue of Ramesis was also very impressive. The 1st pyramid in Sakkara was very interesting. Our driver was great too - the traffic in Giza/Cairo is chaotic and manic so it was nice to be driven around by an expert haha We didn't eat in a restaurant as Ahmed wanted to cram as much into the day as possible so we picked up falafal and the most amazing authentic chicken Shawarma to eat while we drove to our next destination. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough!

THe guide skipped the Boat museum and had me pay for my own lunch, then led me into a high pressure sales pitch from a perfume seller on the way back to hotel. Egypt is full on con artist and pushy street peddlers. They extend to the local tour companies as well. BEWARE

This tour was amazing I would highly recommend it there are so many incredible sights to see included in this! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful, he knew the best spots for photos and took so many great shots for us. We really enjoyed our day.

Starts early and ends early giving you time to rest or do other things. You get to see everything you want to see in the Cairo area. Perhaps adding on the museum would be a nice touch? Both the driver and guide both named Ahmet were excellent and knowledgable.

Fantastic tour. Our guide, Emmy Eman was so lovely, knowledgeable and caring. She ensured we got to see everything we wanted to. Also our driver was protective of us, particularly the kids, ensuring they were safe as we were crossing roads. The Sekkara pyramid was a highlight, particularly going inside, while the camel ride to see the view of the 9 pyramids was fantastic although this was an extra cost. Great day, worth every cent and fantastic experience.
