Rendez-vous à un emplacement central près de la rue piétonne Chunxi Road, montez dans un tuk-tuk privé vers 18:30, et serpentez dans les rues et les communautés de Chengdu pour trouver la meilleure cuisine de la ville. Votre guide vous emmène dans des restaurants que les locaux adorent. Couvrez une grande surface, et sortez des sentiers battus pour les restaurants familiaux que la plupart des voyageurs ne pourraient trouver eux-mêmes. Entre les arrêts culinaires, échangez avec votre guide au sujet de la ville tout en buvant de la bière et un soda frais à volonté tout au long du circuit.
Tout en visitant 4-5 arrêts culinaires, écoutez des histoires portant sur les familles qui élaborent leurs spécialités depuis des générations. Observez les aliments en train d’être préparés et découvrez ce qui les rend si spéciaux pour les habitants de Chengdu. Que ce soit pour déguster des boulettes artisanales dans la maison du chef, affronter les plats épicés du Sichuan ou déguster des collations uniques à Chengdu, il y en a pour tous les goûts.

Was in China for 14 days, booked 18 different tours and this was one of the top 3 tours we went on. This is a must in Chengdu. Our Tour Guide, River River is his name, was excellent - one of the best tour guides in China. His english is excellent and he knows a ton about the local cuisine. The food places he brought us to were excellent. Also, you get all the beer and water you want. Drivers were excellent. I felt very safe in the Tuk-Tuk.
What a brilliant way to see Chengdu at night. The food stops were amaxing, we went to places you would never find on your own. Our guide knew so much when it came to the origions of the food, local customs and stories of how food has developed through the ages. And to finish up in a local bar with views over the city. Amazing. Would absolutely recommend it.

Went on this tour to try to get a sense of some of the best flavors of Chengdu cuisine that we wouldn't find at a big name restaurant or hot pot place - this tour really succeeded to that end. Our guides were helpful, knowledgeable, informative, and great to hang out with. We really felt we got to both try things we wouldn't otherwise have tried secret dumpling restaurants and bars etc., and got a wide selection of cuisine in one evening that would otherwise have taken several meals. Really highly recommend.
it was an unexpectedly unbelievable, amazing experience. Two girls who did this tour for us were great. We were traveling in the center of the downtown in Chengdu on Tuk Tuk quite unstable but safe , we have visited 6 restaurants maybe 7- I don't remember exactly the number. The food that was presented to us was unbelievably tasty and unknown to us. We would never taste this food in any other restaurants overseas and would never find these restaurants by ourselves. If you have a spare evening to spend in Chengdu I would highly recommend to book this tour.
Just a tour of street vendors where there are no health and Hygiene regulations the trip to the house, well you enter the property through a window and its that dirty you have to wipe your feet on the way out. Despite expressing our likes and dislikes the guide took great pleasure in offering us all types of offal on a stick. My wife was ill there and then result - cab back to the hotel. Advice - No street food tours do your home work and find a good restaurant
