Visite privée de Denver et des contreforts de la montagne en véhicule de luxe
Vous êtes dans le Colorado pour une réunion d'affaires ? Ou vous êtes-vous à la recherche de choses à faire à Denver ? Cette visite de Denver en bus est un excellent moyen de s'évader de la ville pour quelques heures et visiter quelques-unes des meilleures attractions du Colorado.
Pour commencer, vous partirez du centre de Denver et visiterez l'historique Larimer Square. Puis vous vous dirigerez vers l'ouest dans les collines. Votre premier arrêt se fera dans le célèbre amphithéâtre et parc naturel en roche rouge mondialement connu. Vous pourrez profiter de 30 à 40 minutes à l'amphithéâtre et au centre des visiteurs. Ensuite, profitez d’un joli trajet à travers la partie sud du parc. Après cela, vous ferez un trajet panoramique le long de Bear Creek Canyon jusqu’à la superbe ville de Evergreen, et vous arrêterez à Evergreen Lakehouse pour une séance photo. Ensuite, visitez le panorama de Buffalo Herd. Les buffles que vous pourrez observer sont les descendants directs du dernier troupeau de buffles sauvages en Amérique. Après l'observation des buffles, vous monterez à 2 250 mètres jusqu’au sommet de Lookout Mountain, d’où vous profiterez de vues à couper le souffle. Vous pourrez visiter le musée et la tombe de Buffalo Bill pendant 30 minutes. Vous descendrez ensuite jusqu’à la ville de Golden à travers le pittoresque et historique passage de Lariat Loop. Ici, vous aurez la possibilité de terminer cette excursion panoramique dans le Colorado avec une petite promenade dans cette ville historique.

Communication with the owner/operator of the tour was non existent. I called 3 different times to confirm and ask different questions and they seemed annoyed to hear from me. The car was nice and arrived on time. The driver was polite enough, but was definitely lacking in what he had to say about Denver. There were large amounts of time we drove in complete silence. This was a business trip, but unfortunately my client was not impressed.
We were kindly offered to be picked up an hour earlier which was much more convenient for us as the weather forecast was dubious with heavy wet snow later that day. We were expecting a Mercedes car but got picked up in a Mercedes van, but that was okay as we had a good view and it was comfortable. Our driver was such a nice chap. Gentlemanly, informative and answered all our questions. Red Rocks Amphitheatre was amazing and beautiful. We got half an hour there, just about long enough. We saw a herd of deer on the hills behind which was lovely to see. As we left Red Rocks to drive towards Evergreen the weather started to close in earlier than expected and the snow came down. We had a short stop at Evergeen lake which was still part frozen. Our driver said only three weeks earlier they were still ice fishing and skating on the lake. We enjoyed learning about how people live in the mountains and their day to day lives. We saw some beautiful wooden houses. As the snow got heavier our poor driver had to make several decisions en route. Not an easy task with you are responsible for other people's safety. But he made good choices and although we did not get to see anything from Lookout Mountain far too misty and snowy with no visibility we did manage to get back on track to visit Buffalo Bill's grave. Driving back down the Lariat Loop was stunningly beautiful. We were glad we weren't driving!! The rock formations and geology are amazing. Because the weather was a bit rough, we did not stop to walk about in Golden but our driver kindly took us to look at Coors Brewery huge place and told us quite a bit about how they use the mountain spring water and its history and also kindly stopped at the old Railway Museum as we drove by to let me take some photos of the beautiful old trains. We enjoyed learning about how Denver was known as a Stock Town, driving cattle through the centre, the changes happening in Denver now and many other interesting facts and figures. Our driver asked us what we had already seen in Denver on our holiday and he added interesting facts to what we had already learned and made a few more suggestions. The whole afternoon, apart from the weather, was very enjoyable and our driver made us feel comfortable and relaxed. We hope this feedback gets shown to our Driver as he was just perfect for us and it was great to spend time in his company. A thoroughly enjoyable trip, thank you. We had an excellent tour around Denver, our Driver/Guide, Steve was very knowledgeable and friendly, he even made some extra sight seeing stops to take some picture!!!
This was a perfect afternoon getaway from the city! My guide was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and professional--and a very safe driver. Views were spectacular. I have recommended the tour to friends who are considering a trip to Denver.
