Votre excursion de snorkeling commence sur la plage, face à l’hôtel Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach, où vous pourrez vous enregistrer, récupérer votre matériel de snorkeling et monter à bord du catamaran qui vous conduira dans les eaux turquoise de Grand Bahama.
À bord, détendez-vous et profitez de la brise marine tandis que votre capitaine se dirige vers Peterson Cay National Park, une petite île au large de la côte. Lorsque le bateau s’arrête, enfilez votre masque, votre tuba et vos palmes, puis sautez à l’eau pour nager au cœur du monde marin des Caraïbes. Votre guide vous indiquera où aller pour voir des poissons tropicaux, des coraux durs et mous et toute une variété d’animaux marins, et peut-être même des requins !
Une fois l’activité snorkeling terminée, remontez sur le bateau et hydratez-vous avec une bouteille d’eau froide (et déjeunez si vous avez apporté de quoi manger) sur le chemin du retour vers la plage, où votre excursion prendra fin. Located at our hotel we stayed at, went by to confirm and they acted like they did not know a day or time or that was booked. Then they were nice and let us go a day before, we went in several times and they said nope your good then right before going the front desk argued with me and was saying they could not tell that it was prepaid and kept asking me for more proof even with the voucher I had from Viator and the screenshots I had taken of the receipts, they did not agree with what I paid online for it. Then I had to pay more at the desk because they said Viator did not charge me for everything even though voucher said paid in full. They wanted me to look it up and in their country to internet does not work the greatest. Then a man became out of breathe screamed for help more than 5 times Captain said lay on your back, he started to panic and was starting to bob in water, Captain still saying lay on back he had on no life jacket, so that really wouldn't help in deep ocean water, he screamed again, my husband had to grab a life jacket dive in and put the man on the jacket and swim him in and pull him into the boat without help. The man went around the hotel telling everyone that my husband saved his life. There was very little to bo customer service. I have never been to a place like this. Do not recommend Viva Wyndham Fortuna resort or any tours from this place or Nexus located inside hotel.
Snorkeling was not so great not many fish but the lunch and relaxing on the beach was very nice.
We loved the snorkeling trip. It was very well run. The crew was so friendly and helpful. It was an awesome experience!!
This trip was great. We loved the Cay! We shared the boat trip with divers, so it made us wish we had signed up for diving! The day we went was very clear and very, very hot! Bring extra water, extra sunscreen and a hat if you don't want your forehead to burn!
