The three remaining palaces are: The Mexuar, the Hall of Ambassadors (Diwan) and the Court of the Lions (Riyad Al-Said). They were the residence of the Nasrid kings. Built in the XIV century. The different halls inside are called: Mexuar, Golden Room, Court of the Myrtles, Hall of Ambassadors, Court of the Lions and the christian rooms of Charles V.

Lucia Caparros was our guide for our evening and morning tours to the Alhambra on May 25 and 26th.. She was very knowledgeable and was happy to share her love of the Alhambra with us. It was a small group of 7 which was exactly what we desired. We passed the long lines and felt special as we moved from room to room. We especially loved the gardens and learned the history of the Alhambra. We would definitely recommend these tours and 'Lucy' to anyone.
Just prior to the start of our trip Viator started calling and messaging to tell us that the beginning time for our night tour on Saturday night had been moved up by several hours. Apparently they were unaware of the time difference and called us in the middle of the night in the US. The time change for the tour would required us to change our plans for the first day of our trip to Spain. Then, our flight from the US was delayed anyway and we would not make the night tour in time for the earlier time. I sent numerous emails and text messages while waiting for our plane from Boston and while waiting for our next plane in London on Saturday asking if there was a way to get the Sunday morning tickets that were part of our Alhambra ticket since the Saturday night tour was no longer possible. My messages weren't returned until around noon on Sunday at which time we had purchased other tickets at a great premium to be able to tour the Alhambra. In any event the message to us on Sunday was that there was nothing they could do. Terrible customer service and response time.
The trip was excellent and the guide who showed us around was very knowledgeable. He told us about the history and the pointed out the art produced in those days. A great night visit and a great follow up the next day. Five out of five.
