Notre guide vous accueillera dans le hall de votre hôtel, puis vous commencerez votre balade dans les « 36 rues » du vieux quartier pour visiter quelques-uns des restaurants de famille, stands ou magasins célèbres et spécialisés où les gens circulent et vaquent à leurs occupations quotidiennes, vous pourrez découvrir et goûter à quelques plats particuliers (nous pouvons proposer des plats végétariens ou des exigences spéciales)

Le vieux quartier de Hanoï a plus de mille ans et conserve encore aujourd'hui une grande partie de la vieille saveur qui a rendu cet endroit spécial dans les temps anciens. Chaque rue a été le domaine exclusif d'un commerce (guilde) et c'est pourquoi il y a des rues entières de forgerons, de magasins d'argent, de boutiques de papier, de tailleurs de pierre et plus encore. À l'origine, il n'y avait que 36 rues dans le vieux quartier mais aujourd'hui il y en a plus de 50. Cependant, beaucoup de ces rues sont courtes et la zone est assez compacte.

Après tout, nous vous proposons une expérience unique et l'occasion de goûter les mets de la population locale de Hanoï. Les vendeurs ou restaurants/familles sont également avantagés, puisque nous achetons directement auprès d'eux.

Visitez Hanoï en vélotaxi afin de vous immerger dans l'âme de Hanoï. Ce moyen « authentique » permet aux visiteurs de découvrir le centre-ville avec des émotions intenses. C'est comme si vous étiez dans le centre d'un tourbillon de circulation, enveloppé dans une cacophonie de klaxons et dans l'agitation de personnes qui tentent de se frayer un chemin au milieu de toute cette animation.

À la fin de notre excursion à Hanoï, vous êtes libre de continuer à explorer le quartier, ou votre guide vous fournira des indications ou vous aidera à prendre un taxi pour retourner à votre hôtel.

Our tour had a delayed start as our guide Claudia was in a motorbike accident on her way to work. After assuring us she was well enough to continue we set off on the cyclos. I had Claudia riding with me while my boyfriend was in another cyclo behind us, which unfortunately meant that while I could talk to Claudia and get some information while we travelled he could not. All of the local food stops were places we probably would never have been able to find by ourselves and everything was delicious probably the best banh mi we had anywhere in Vietnam but we were disappointed that there was no real information provided about the Old Quarter or Hanoi in general. Even when we asked about what we could do or sights to see in Hanoi we weren't really given much of anything. Particularly disappointing as Claudia had perfect English so it would have been very easy to learn some of this information from her.

This was well worth the cost of the tour ! It was nice to get a feel of Hanoi, taste the different foods and see the area ! Our guide was very friendly, nice and we saw a lot in the short time of the tour ! Highly recommend.....

Only trouble was the guide thought we had booked an eating tour and didnt seem to know anything about our expectation of a cyclo ride. He did however give us a very interesting. Tour othe markets brew houses and we did get our cyclo ride.

Our guide arrived late and then he was still trying to organise the cyclo riders which meant we left 15 minutes late yet the tour ended exactly on time. We felt pressurised by the guide who was insistent on us going on some other tours after this tour. My husband's rider kept tapping him on the shoulder in the last 15 minutes saying money for beer all the time, so there was undoubted pressure for a gratuity. It may be better to use riders who are contracted to deliver this service to avoid this type of thing happening. We had done a lot of walking in the Old Quarter and felt that the tour did not add anything to our experience. If you are not a walker then this tour will give you a close view of the Old Quarter. In any event a person could simply call a rider and do this trip without having to work with a guide who actually did nothing except have a ride. Our guide was very pushy at the beginning and end for us to do more with him to the point that it became annoying. We were glad to get rid of him. ou

Belle our guide was lovely and informative and took us to places we would never have found on our own! We had a lovely morning eating our way thru Hanoi!
