Après le petit déjeuner à l’hôtel, nous commençons une journée complète de visite guidée d’Istanbul. Nous visiterons le Palais de Topkapi ; ancienne résidence impériale à partir de laquelle le Grand Empire Ottoman régnait autrefois. Aujourd’hui, c’est un musée spectaculaire qui possède l’une des plus grandes collections de porcelaine chinoise et japonaise ainsi que le très célèbre trésor de la famille royale. Ensuite, nous continuerons jusqu’à l’ancien Hippodrome Romain ; l’ancien centre d’activités sportives et politiques de Constantinople. Au cours de la visite, vous pourrez voir l’obélisque d’Égypte, la Colonne Serpentine de Delphes et la fontaine de Guillaume II. Après cela, nous verrons Hagia Sophia, la plus magnifique église byzantine de tous les temps, l’une des plus belles et plus grandes œuvres d’art architectural au monde. Nous continuerons notre excursion dans Sultanahmet avec la Mosquée bleue ; célèbre pour ses délicats carreaux de céramique bleue et unique avec ses 6 minarets construits au nom du sultan Ahmed. Et enfin nous ferons un arrêt au Grand Bazar couvert ; qui est le centre commercial le plus attractif et le plus grand (souk) du monde avec près de 4000 boutiques d’antiquités, de bijoux, d’or, de tapis et de maroquinerie. Retour à l'hôtel.

Istanbul is a great city and this tour took us to many unique places. The tour guide was very professional and knowledgable. My only big complaint was the constant apparent expectation for us to buy stuff at the various shops we visited. The Turkish rug guy was a nice guy but very pushy in trying to get us to by a $2500 Turkish rug ! Are you kidding me ? We had slightly similar experiences in other shops on this tour. Because of that I have to downgrade the ratting from a 4 to a 3.

We had an amazing trip around the historical sites of Turkey. Our guide was called Emre and he made the trip come to life with his knowledge and enthusiasm. He also took us to local spots for lunch that did delicious Turkish food. We would definitely come again.

This tour gave a good intro to some of the more popular historical sights of the city. Our guide Ozlem was very knowledgeable and went out of her way to provide recommendations and answer questions about the city and Turkish culture. The pickup from our hotel was on time and went very smoothly with pickup confirmation and contact details of guide emailed to us in advance. The tour consisted of just 6 people and it was great to have such a small group. While the tour was guided, we were also given plenty of free time in each location to explore. As it was Sunday, the Great Bazaar was closed and we visited the Basilica Cisterns instead which was great. The only negative I could say would be the visit to the carpet shop which is posed as a cultural experience, but the hard sell is very awkward and uncomfortable.

An excellent trip to the high points of Istanbul with stops. Lale Kilic was an great guide...very knowledgeable and both responsive to our small group's questions and flexible to our requests. I truly enjoyed the day and felt like I had a good introduction to Istanbul.

I booked this 2 days before the day we did the tour. Although it was for a small group tour, my brother and I ended up being the only 2 on the tour which meant it was a private tour. I was really happy with this company and their promptness. Simeh arrived before the planned time and walked us to all the sites on the itinerary. He was very personable and a wealth of knowledge. I am glad we did this on our first day in Istanbul since he offered great advice about how to cope with the Grand Bazaar etc. He took us to a great restaurant for lunch too. All in all I was pleased with this tour and the company. We started at 9am and finished around 3.30pm.

My guide really made this an awesome experience. Ozlem was first-class and very welcoming and informative. You get to see all of the primary sites, with entrance included. I highly recommend!

The tour was great. My guide Ozi was amazing. It was only me on the tour so I felt I was with a friend. She was very informative and extremely friendly as well. She suggested a few things during the tour but never pushed me to do anything. This tour is highly recommended
