our guide stravos made all the different. punctual. friendly, informative, passionate about history and economics, it was a joy to see the places with him and have conversations with him. he was attentive to my dad mom, me and my teen son. he knew so much about the politics, the history, the myths. - absolute delight. please please visit Athens with him.

My friend and I spent the day with Stavros touring the major sights. This was a wonderful tour. Stavros met us right on time at our hotel. He was very personable and extremely knowledgeable. We had great discussions ranging from the ancient philosophers to the modern political and economic situations in Greece. We started at the Acropolis early in the morning which allowed us to beat most of the crowds. Stavros gave us a very detailed history of the Acropolis and then let us explore the ruins for about 45 minutes. We saw many more sights, including the changing of the guard and the Temple of Zeus. We were dropped off in the Plaka for lunch with good recommendations for restaurants and shops. Stavros suggested we visit the markets, which we are glad we did. The meat market gave a new meaning to fresh meats. After lunch, we went by the government buildings and the top of Lycabettus Hill for a view over the entire city. This was a great tour and Stavros was the perfect guide. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Stavros Striligas did a great job with seeing the whole city in a matter of 6 hours. We started by looping around the coast then went to a high spot across from the Acropolis, what a view!!! Was watched the changing of the guards, which was a great experience - a do not miss! He was very knowledgeable about the city and the history. We were dropped for lunch in the shopping district. Lunch was really good, seemed like a tourist trap but was not. sorry I do not remember the name of the restaurant. The owners let us go on top of the roof for a great city center view, jewel in the middle of the bussel. We concluded our tour with the Acropolis, mild hike steps, it was very hot July so bring plenty of water. The view from there across to where we started was a great perspective. apologize for not knowing what the cross view was called. Stavros was very personable , not too talky, not too quiet, the perfect guide. You need to book with him instead of the cruise tours, much cheaper and you are on your own schedule!!! Sorry this is a bit late but wanted to make sure we shared our thoughts.

We had an incredible time during our day private tour of Athens. Our tour guide was very informative of the history and culture of the historic sites. He helped us get to the front of the line for tickets and saved us a tremendous amount of time at the Acropolis. We toured several historic sites and had a wonderful lunch in city Centre market. We finished our tour atop Athens for fantastic photos.

Could not have been better. Ioannis, our driver, was waiting for us exactly as promised. His English was exceptional and easily understood. We had arranged for our Acropolis tickets to be prepurchased which saved us over a 90 minute wait on line. I can very highly recommend Ioannis and his tour!
