Votre rencontre rapprochée avec les félins commence lorsque vous entrez dans le Lion Habitat Ranch près de Las Vegas, l'abri de 3,4 hectares pour des lions qui travaillaient auparavant au MGM Lion Habitat. Depuis le début des années 1990, le sanctuaire est la résidence de plus de 40 lions et de leurs adorables lionceaux. Le personnel du ranch s'occupe des félins pour le reste de leur vie, et consacre une partie des revenus aux habitats de lions sauvages. Promenez-vous le long des chemins pavés pour bénéficier d'une vue dégagée sur les chats géants, pendant qu'ils jouent et font la sieste dans leurs habitats. Vous aurez également la possibilité de choisir l'un des surclassements suivants pour améliorer votre expérience.
Visite des coulisses en petit groupe
Si vous souhaitez observer les chasseurs sous un autre point de vue, choisissez une visite des coulisses. Limitée à dix personnes, les formateurs professionnels répondent à vos questions concernant l'élevage et le dressage des lions au cours d'une session interactive de questions-réponses. Une fois que vous avez appris le fonctionnement interne du sanctuaire, explorez le terrain au cours d'une visite guidée. Regardez les rois de la jungle et leurs petits se nourrir, s'entraîner et se baigner.

What a hidden gem. We used to be sure to stop by the MGM hotel to see the lions there, but they closed that exhibit down in 2012. What struck me about this place was the cleanliness and palpable love for these animals that the trainers had. You can just tell when someone speaks animal, and these people do. The most important thing to the wonderful people here is the health and happiness of their animals. Highest recommendation! Also, the behind the scenes tour has a lot less people trying to get the attention of the lions - after our tour, there were large groups of kids laughing at the lions, who were grumbling back at them - found the kids annoying and wondering where the parents were - only to sadly realize, they were right next to them doing the same thing. Too bad you can't pass a test before you're allowed to be with these majestic beasts. Do yourself a favor and visit this place - but please be respectful of the big kitties!

My family and I enjoyed our visit to the lion habitat. It has more than just lions there, you can see birds, ostriches, and giraffes. My daughter had the opportunity to feed the giraffe while petting him. That was her highlight of the day. It was awesome to when they feed the lions because all of them start to roar, and it can be heard throughout the entire facility. If you a family traveling in Las Vegas, this is a must see.

It was fun,we got there on Benny the Lion's third birthday and we were able to catch his birthday party and watch him get his piñata, I.also got to hand feed a giraffe and we were able to watch them feed the lions and the Cubs

Amazing!! Staff very knowledgeable about the animals in their care. Cute baby giraffe that paints a must see. I highly recommend this tour to everyone! Price may seem a bit high but when you see what it takes to care for these beautiful animals on a daily basis, the donation is well worth the price!
