The guide Ashraf was just amazing the best one we had in Egypt so knowledgeable and very kind and friendly
Absolutely fantastic. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, and he gave us time to explore sites on our own after telling us about them, which we really enjoyed. We also greatly appreciated that we were not forced to stop once at any stores and listen to a sales pitch for local goods--as the guide said, the people who want to do that will ask for it, and we were certainly more interested in seeing the sights than buying souvenirs. The tour started and ended promptly, and the driver was professional and capable as well. As for the content of the tour, we hit the main sites on both the West and East Banks of Luxor, plus the Habu Temple, which is apparently not visited as often by tours. It's a good choice nonetheless. Either way, I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to other visitors.
If you are only in Luxor for a day then choose this tour. I did the balloon flight (also set up by the tour operator) at extra cost. It started at 330AM. Then was taken back to the hotel for a quick breakfast then a
Highly recommend this trip! Our tour guide was Mohammed, and he was so good - definitely knew his stuff! The whole process was seamless, we were picked up on time and everything was as expected, if not - better!! If you are only in Luxor for a short time, then this trip is perfect to see the main sites! The only downside was we wanted more time in Karnak Temple as its huge and you could spend hours exploring - but this was our own fault for booking a jam packed tour so no issues!! Thank you so much Mohammed - you were amazing!
If one were to select just a single tour of Luxor, this would be the best! With an in depth look at the array of tombs and temples on both the East and West banks of the Nile, this is a treasure trove of sights and learning. My tour guide Wael was superb! He is a national treasure unto himself. One could hardly expect such a well informed, courteous guide with excellent time management skills. The majesty of Luxor comes alive with Wael's guidance. Thank you!
We were greeted by our tour guide Hady at our hotel. He was very pleasant and high spirited person. We started the tour at the West Bank. We visited The Valley of the Kings went inside three tombs, Hatshepsut temple. Hady was very knowledgable and gave us interesting facts with recent discovery and findings.I have been watching a lot about egypts history in Discovery Channel and National Geographic but having an egyptologist with you during the tour is more better and Hady was able to explain questions that is not told on tv, After west bank we headed off to east bank and saw karnak temple and luxor temple. I had a request from Hadi that I wanted to see how papyrus was made and he took us there as well. This tour is worth it all. A piece of advise to tourist - if you plan to buy souvenirs, always haggle with prices as they are always giving you 100-150 percent top up from the original price. Better check out prices first like papyrus be sure to know it is not fake, price range from 5 to 30 , alabaster figurines and vase depends on the size but should be on the range from 5 to 20 only. Be careful of people giving you sweet talks and free especially if your touris. Nothing is free its all paid. Tourist is also expected to give tips even if they have not done anything. Some people just beg for nothing.
Amr was super knowledgeable and friendly. We went to the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut, Karnak and Luxor Temple. Super informative!
