A well organised visit with a really great guide at Pompey. We arrived at Naples dock with a lot of luggage (on our way back to the UK) and wanted to finish the tour at Naples Railway Station. The tour company organised all that and transported all our luggage

Lisa, our tour guide was great! Her English was great, she enunciated and was easy to hear and understand, and her enthusiasm was a plus! She also added a little humor, which was fun. It’s a quick trip, but long enough to see the main highlights, as well as shop for souvenirs. Our driver was friendly as well, and the Viator customer service rep was prompt and helpful when I called to confirm my hotel pickup. Would definitely recommend

Pick up / travel was easy. Great to visit Pompei. Our tour guide was average and some of her information was inaccurate. We were not shown some highlights that we later discovered on a walking tour app. Too bad.

Get in early and any skip the line tours. Gets packed with people very quickly. Lots of tourism in this location but worth it

Pompeii 2hr tour small group- excellent tour guide, she really watched out for us making sure others didn’t butt in front of us, in the more crowded exhibits. She was knowledgeable, patient with our questions.

The two-hour tour hits the highlights. The guide was outstanding, very knowledgeable and personable. We were able to cover a lot of territory and see more than enough. I recommend this tour.

We had a fantastic guide -- I forget her name but she was extremely easy to understand as she made an effort to really annunciate important facts. Extremely informative and never skipped a beat while navigating us through the ruins. She had a comment, story, or fact for anything and everything that we passed by. Could have used an extra minute or two for photos, but I understand the avoidance of holding up the tour. If you want photos, make sure to stay back for a minute and take some while still listening thru the provided speaker. Hotel pick up and drop off was coordinated very well and we had no problems at all. Would highly recommend this company and tour.

Thank you! Our 1/2 day tour was very organized and totally worth the low cost. A small shuttle picked us up in front of the hotel, on time and provided a safe transport to Pompeii. Our tour guide was very informative and funny. The event included the cost of the entry and a 2 hour plus tour of important history with current tidbits about Pompeii. The tour concluded with transportation back to our hotel. I’d recommend this to anyone visiting Naples and wants a stress free visit to Pompeii.

Very enjoyable/great guide.

This was my favorite of all the scheduled “informative” tours we took while in Italy. Our guide Maria spoke good English but I so appreciated her speaking slowly so we could understand through her lovely accent and the earpiece. Tip : consider brigibg your own to plug into the transmitter sets- might offer better sound. The day was HOT but Maria kept this tour going at a comfortable pace, doing a nice job describing a visual picture of what this once thriving city was like. She even drew references to modern day living and how the “ancient” folk had their own system of GPS and fast food. Even our teenagers remained engage for most of the time :)

We did this tour in April. With such large numbers of tourists the company did a good job of organising us and were very helpful. Overall it is a professionally facilitated tour and you get the main headlines about Pompei in half a day as you walk around the city ruins. Dont expect customised service or time to reflect, ask questions or have personal interactions with the guide because they have a fixed formula and strict timetable to adhere too. Be prepared for crowds at every turn or go in a low season if there is such a season at all!.
