Vous serez transféré par un chauffeur vers 9:00 depuis votre hôtel ou hébergement. Soyez prêt à vous laisser impressionner par la richesse de la culture et les étonnants bâtiments de Old et New Delhi. Vous pouvez vous attendre à un voyage inoubliable de 8 heures à travers des histoires de la Première Guerre Mondiale, en montant dans un pousse-pousse ou en profitant d'un déjeuner-buffet optionnel.

Old Delhi vous montre le Fort Rouge, qui a été construit par l'empereur moghol, Shah Jahan. Ensuite, vous visiterez l'une des plus grandes mosquées d'Inde, Jama Masjid, qui fut également construite par l'empereur moghol, Shah Jahan, également appelé Prince Khurram. Promenade en pousse-pousse sur le marché de Old Delhi, Chandni Chowk. Le trajet dure 1 heure et est inclus dans le prix.

Après avoir exploré Old Delhi, il est temps de faire une pause déjeuner, qui est facultative. Au déjeuner buffet, vous pourrez profiter des saveurs de Delhi.

En vous dirigeant ensuite vers New Delhi, visitez l'un des plus anciens et des plus hauts minarets en briques d'Inde, le Qutub Minar. Attendez-vous à prendre de superbes photos de cette structure qui fut construite autour de 1192. Visitez le tombeau du grand empereur moghol Humayun, le père d'Akbar, l'un des plus célèbres empereurs de l'histoire moghole. Passez un peu de temps à l'India Gate, un mémorial en l'honneur des 70 000 soldats de l'armée indienne qui ont péri dans la période 1914-21 pendant la Première Guerre Mondiale. Laissez-vous impressionner par le Temple du Lotus, réputé pour sa forme de fleur. Une des importantes attractions de la ville, qui est ouverte à tous, quelle que soit la religion. Ensuite, vous traverserez le Parlement et les bâtiments du Parlement.

L'excursion se terminera vers 17:30. Vous pouvez également être transféré n'importe où à Delhi. Le transfert vers l'aéroport est également possible.

The day tour of Delhi was a perfect way to see this great city. Relaxed, informative and comfortable. Our guide was very knowledgable. It was great that he took time to show me where my family once lived. The driver was friendly and helpful too. Cold drinks and snacks were provided and the inclusive lunch very good. Highly recommended.

One of my friends and I took this tour on August 27, 2018. Indu Singh, guide and driver Riyaz were very punctual and knowledgeable about the history of all sites visited and went beyond what was expected from them to accommodate any additional requests that we made. When booking this trip, we would highly recommend them. The SUV was immaculately clean, the AC was excellent and we even had Wi-Fi in the SUV. Also, the restaurant where we had lunch was excellent. Please keep up the excellent work.

Great, knowledgable and friendly guides. Got a real taste of Delhi old and new in around 8 hours, which was perfect for us. The lunch place was nice and a convenient time and cant fault the whole tour service.

Tour itself and Guide Jimmy were great. We had old man who was university educated guy, very respectable, his english was precious and fully understable. He and driver were the best. But ... tour started at 9 when driver pickup at exactly in time at hotel. Because hotel was little bit far away it took 2 hours until we reach first destination and I am serious about it. First destination was not which described one. It was another part of city, so what is written in description is not where we were delivered and where we shoudl started. Because of this we did not visited all places described in tour and we had not see all declared places - simply, because of time and terrible trafic. Guide itself was amazing. So I recommend to follow exactly what is described, because we expected something else and I also recommned to make suggestion about start little bit earlier if hotel is far away to avoid wasting time in car. Jimmy - guide was doing his best even driver was perfect. For that money should be better.

My recent trip to Delhi was complete with a day tour of old and new Delhi. We are so glad that we decided to book this trip. It turned out be everything we were hoping for and more. The local tour operator, Pioneer travels did a spectacular job. I got a program with details of the pickup, the drivers name etc one day in advance. The driver arrived exactly on time. The tour guide spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable of Delhi history and also Indian history as well. He was entertaining, funny and kept a running commentary of many details that would not normally come up. The driver new the locations and roads very well and stayed in the car safeguarding our belongings while we stepped out. I am so thankful to Pioneer tours for making this trip memorable and a special thanks to Kuldeep, the tour guide and Rahul the driver for making it so pleasant. I highly recommend Pioneerl tour company for anyone planning on a tour of Delhi.
