Excursion culinaire en petit groupe Nice : spécialités provençales

Second time we’ve booked a food tour with Viator. Both experiences were excellent. Our guide was knowledgeable and took us to so many places to try local specialities. She gave us historical information to better understand the nuances of Nicoise cuisine.

The small group food tour was a nice quick walking tour around a small area of Nice, that gives you an overview of some of the local flavors. Was a nice break from the beach and learned a little something about the city over a few small snacks.

This was a wonderful way to start off a stay in Nice. Our happy and knowledgeable guide was a local, well known to the culinary scene in Nice, Marion, nick named the "White Wolf". She is a native and knows her stuff! We visited and sampled the fresh market in Old Town and tasted extraordinary regional delicacies. We finished the tour high upon the hill overlooking Nice, enjoying a special fare of wine and cheeses which she had collected along the tour. The French know their food...what a treat! Do not miss!!

The English speaking was beyond amazing. She knows how to run a great tour. I learned tons about culture, history, food and wine. Her suggestions have already had an impact on my further time in France.

It was a very good experience in Nice. The host introduced us many special food in the market and shops. The atmosphere was warm and the food was great. Highly recommended it.

Our tour guide was amazing! She took us to the old town in Nice where there are shops going back to the 1800's. We sampled wine, cheeses and olive oils I've never tasted before, also other foods native to France. This walking tour gives you a chance to see places that the locals are familiar with, but as a tourist you may not get to discover, especially if your time in Nice is limited. Wonderful tour for someone that loves to try new things and see the sites at the same time and our guide Marianne was wonderful!

We've taken a number of Foodie tours in the past and this by far was the very best. First of all, our guide Marion is very much a foodie herself. Her rapport with the various shop owners and market vendors was quite evident. Throughout the tour she purchased items she would later share with our entire group of 11. First, at our coffee break we enjoyed 2 fresh bakery products as well as fresh strawberries and cherries. Later in the tour we enjoyed a sampling of pizza and socca along with a glass of her preferred Rose wine. And, at our last stop she prepared a sampling of cheeses based on the groups preferences. So much more to write but let's simply say that this is a not a tour to be missed. Thank you Marion!

Wonderful. It as not only interesting, but the food tasting was a delicious experience. This tour was very well organized and delivered. I highly recommend it.
