Vous serez pris en charge à votre hôtel à environ 8:00 et emmené au quai de la Playita. Sur le trajet, vous découvrirez les quartiers modernes et anciens de la ville de Panama le long du passage d'Amador pour arriver à l'embarcadère et monter à bord du bateau à 9:30.

Profitez d'une croisière d'environ 60 minutes le long du canal de Panama jusqu'à la célèbre écluse de Miraflores. En fonction du nombre de bateaux présents à la date de votre voyage, vous pourrez très probablement attendre un peu de temps avant de naviguer dans les écluses. L'attente en vaut la peine alors installez-vous confortablement et profitez du paysage jusqu'à ce que ce soit votre tour !

Lorsque vous passerez dans l'écluse de Miraflores, votre bateau s'élèvera à 16 mètres de haut dans un processus en deux étapes. Le processus est réalisé par l'arrivée des eaux provenant du lac de Pedro Miguel qui remplissent les cuves dans lequel se trouve le bateau. Une fois le processus est terminé, vous poursuivrez votre croisière jusqu'aux écluses de Pedro Miguel avant d'arriver au quai de Gamboa où vous monterez à bord de l'autocar qui vous ramènera à votre hôtel du centre-ville de Panama.

We were pleasantly surprised that breakfast was served on the boat, and also an early lunch. Pick up from the hotel was on time, and the boat trip was thankfully not too crowded. Also, the wait to go through the locks was not long as well, as was expected. Perhaps the tour guide could've provided more information, but overall a good tour!

Just be aware that there may be delays due to the ship traffic on the canal. Timing is not guaranteed.

JC and his team from Canal Bay Tours was awesome. There are uncontrollable situations due to canal schedules so plan to wait a lot!! But JC (John Carlo) made it fun. I recommend lots of sun block and just enjoy your afternoon. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity.

This is something you must see while visiting Panama. You get to travel thru canal in a ferry boat with a group of people and admiring simple mechanics of Panama locks in person. Great tour, loved it.

My wife and I had booked this day trip as it was always something she had wanted to experience. Unfortunately she could not come due to her mother’s illness. My son in law took her place and now understands why my wife wanted the experience. The history of the canal construction and the invaluable lock statistics made the visual journey well worthwhile. Seeing ships pass through the locks with only inches to spare is incredible. I would definitely recommend anyone taking advantage of the experience, much better to do it, rather than watching someone else do it.
