Visite à pied de l’île de la Cité avec ascension de la cathédrale Notre-Dame
Votre exploration en profondeur du centre historique de Paris commence par une visite guidée de la cathédrale Notre-Dame. Votre guide est un spécialiste de la France médiévale et votre groupe ne comprendra que 14 autres voyageurs au maximum.
À l'intérieur de Notre-Dame, émerveillez-vous devant la célèbre rosace, admirez les superbes arches de l'architecture gothique, et apprenez comment Victor Hugo et son Bossu de Notre-Dame ont en fait sauvé ce magnifique bâtiment de la démolition.
Étonnamment, ce n'est pas l'édifice religieux le plus spectaculaire de la ville. Ce titre est réservé à votre prochain arrêt : la Sainte-Chapelle. Cette chapelle royale a été initialement construite par le roi Louis IV pour abriter sa collection de reliques, et aujourd'hui c'est l'une des plus belles chambres simples de la Chrétienté. C'est également l'une des attractions les plus populaires de la ville. Heureusement, vous aurez des billets coupe-file, donc vous pourrez passer la file l'attente qui s'étend souvent autour du pâté de maisons.
Pour terminer, arrêtez-vous à la Conciergerie, un charmant bâtiment au passé sombre qui hébergeait autrefois les tribunaux de la Révolution et servait à emprisonner les prisonniers politiques en attente de leur rendez-vous avec la guillotine. Le bâtiment a été récemment rénové, y compris la cellule où Marie-Antoinette a passé ses derniers jours avant son exécution. Vous verrez également une deuxième cellule où elle a été brièvement emprisonnée, aujourd'hui transformée en minuscule chapelle.
Pour terminer l'excursion en beauté, nous vous réserverons une petite surprise. Votre guide vous ramènera à la cathédrale Notre-Dame et vous aidera à réserver des billets pour gravir la tour (inclus dans le prix de l'excursion). Vous pouvez programmer votre ascension quand vous le souhaitez : directement après la visite ou quelques jours après. Lorsque vous le ferez, vous passerez directement devant les constantes files d'attente.

- Malheureusement, les tours de Notre-Dame et l'étage supérieur de la Sainte-Chapelle ne sont pas accessibles aux fauteuils roulants.
- Veuillez noter qu’il y a 422 marches jusqu'au sommet de la tour sud de la cathédrale Notre-Dame. Malheureusement, il n'y a pas d'ascenseur. Les personnes ayant des problèmes cardiaques, souffrant de claustrophobie, ou d'autres problèmes de santé doivent en tenir compte avant de réserver cette excursion.

Our tour of the island was fantastic despite not being able to enter Notre Dame. Our guide Violeta was extremely knowledgeable and considerate of the needs of our small group. We had a wonderful experience.

We had booked this tour well before the unfortunate fire at Notre Dame. However, as a member of Team Adam (our tour guide was Adam), this tour lost nothing despite being unable to enter the renowned cathedral. Adam was so well versed in history and architecture that you learned so much about the prior construction of Notre Dame (which had previously collapsed 3 times) and the current reconstruction. But, do not think that Notre Dame is the end all and be all of this tour. Sainte Chapelle is breathtaking and La Conciergerie (where Marie Antoinette was held before her death) was something to see. If there is any way to have Adam be your guide on this, we highly recommend asking for him. Enjoy.
I went on this tour because of Notre Dame church which is beautiful but unfortunately we couldn't climb to the tower because the office couldn't get the tickets so they said we will get a refund and we can come back the next day and buy a ticket and go on our own ( which i doubt anyone from the froup did ) . La chapelle was inetersting also la Conciergerie.
We had the most wonderful day on this tour. All three attractions are fantastic and each was made more interesting by our very enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide 'Adam'. We were in a small group and were amused and involved all the way through. Take the time to go to the top of Notre-Dame, I almost didn't and am so pleased I did, the view is amazing and well worth the huffing and puffing of the steps. I would highly recommend this tour even though it is an early start.
We met our guide at 7.45am, our tour being at 8am which was an early start, but was a good early start to our walk around Paris for the day, with the tour over before lunch and lots of the day left to continue exploring Paris! Notre-Dam is just beautiful and a must to visit. A guide is good to have to explain things we would have not known. We then walked to Sainte Chapelle, with more history explained to us. Well worth seeing also - just beautiful! The prison was next with another short walk - all 3 are close by so there is not much walking - our guide explained so much to us we felt we were in that era! She took us out of our world and for a short time into Marie Antoinette’s world! A definite must to visit also. We then walked back to Dotre-Dame where our guide left us in our skip the line to climb the towers. This you do at your own pace and time. We aren’t young, but managed the hundreds of steps to the very top quite well! The view is magnificent from the top, with many many photo opportunities of Paris. A well worthwhile, enjoyable tour!
