Après un ramassage matinal à votre hôtel parisien, retrouvez votre guide et prenez place à bord de votre confortable monospace climatisé. Ensuite, détendez-vous sur la route en dehors de la ville en direction des plages de Normandie qui abritent des batailles clés datant de la Seconde Guerre mondiale.

Au cours de votre visite, admirez les principaux sites d'intérêt, notamment Omaha Beach et la Pointe du Hoc - la puissante falaise que le colonel James Earl Rudder et ses hommes ont dû escalader sous le feu de l'ennemi. Découvrez les luttes endurées des deux côtés de la bataille et les sacrifices occasionnés.

Après le déjeuner (à vos frais), visitez le cimetière américain avec votre guide privé et rendez peut-être hommage aux soldats tombés. Ensuite, profitez du temps libre pour explorer le centre des visiteurs de Colleville-sur-Mer à votre guise.

Si vous avez assez de temps, arrêtez-vous peut-être à la batterie des canons de Longues-sur-Mer et Arromanches où une sanglante bataille a éclaté. Ensuite, retournez confortablement à votre hôtel à Paris où votre excursion prendra fin.

The sights alone made this tour worth it. But, when you have a tour guide as knowledgeable and as nice as Oliver it made this tour one of the highlights of our family vacation. If you have any interest in history and you want a high end intimate experience this is the tour for you.

Our experience with this tour was excellent! We wanted the tour to have a Canadian D-Day focus and our guide Christian made sure that we saw what we wanted. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel in Paris. We went to Juno Beach, the Canadian Cemetery, visited a monument for a Canadian air strike and visited the Canadian War Museum and we saw Canada House. We also had time to see the The Bayeux Tapestry. Our guide recommended places to eat for lunch as well. Christian went above and beyond to ensure that our trip was great! I'm sure the American version of this tour is just as great! We HIGHLY recommend this tour!

This was the highlight of the trip! Our guide was Fredrich who was amazing! Very knowledgeable--picked us at the hotel early and we got a head start as it is close to a 3hr drive from Paris! The cemetery is breath taking and very moving. Fredrich was the consumate professional. Highly recommend the private guide.

I booked this tour for a multi-generational family vacation and I could not be happier. Our family loved our guide, Phillippe who was knowledgeable and accommodating during the entire trip. I loved that as a small group, we were able to got to and stop at other sites that big tours could not go. On several occasions, we were stopped on a small pull-out of the roadway getting a narrative of the events that had occurred when other tour buses passed us by. In one instance, the site was so small, tour buses would not have been able to make the trip up the hill. Please forward my thanks to our guide and I can't recommend this tour or the guide enough. It was a the highlight of our trip in France. A must see and Oliver is your guy. He was fantastic. He picked up us at our VRBO rental home at 7am and and we headed off for the day to Normandy. He is very personable and incredibly knowledgeable. He took care of lunch reservations at Omaha Beach. THIS IS A MUST DO!!! A PRIVATE TOUR IS THE WAY TO GO
