"Obee" was our Guide and filled our day with information and good old fashion Mexican Humour. We only had one difficulty with a cruise passenger that thought the rules should be re-written for him. The couple obvious did not read the rules that stated - "CRUISESHIP PASSENGERS SHOULD NOT book this tour..Our trip was cut short as the belligerent passenger wanted to be taken back to cruise terminal NOW, did not give it any other thought about the other people who also booked this tour, which was myself and husband included. Obee was going to make back to the terminal on time, however to close for the cruise ship couple's comfort. I do not think that the Tour Guide or other people in the group should have been affected due to ONE couple that could not read RULES. I will leave this to management to figure out for future Tour's Couple Barrie,Ont

the malecon and guadalupe church was nice, the tequilla testing was informative. the lunch was okey. i just want to suggest to tell to tour guide to use a microphone or something so that people most especially who are sitting on the back of the mini van can hear what he is saying bec the road was rough we can't hear what he's is telling and he should accompany the group every stop to explain further about the place and not just staying in the van. guest will be happy if he will engaged more. this is the first viator tour that i'm not satisfied with the tour guide.

Had a great tour guide Tomas. We were on the cruise ship and the ship time is hour later than PV so we missed our pickup by 30 mins had to pay cab ride to downtown $15 to meet up with the tour. This tour didn't incl the Mismaloya beach and spent to much time @ prearranged shops would like to see more

The description for this tour should be updated since it is not accurate, it does not go to Mismaloya beach at all. Here is how my trip went and I was pretty disappointed with it. I was picked up on time 9:20 and we went to wait for some other people across the street, they did not show up so after about 20-25 min we finally left. I was driven further north to a pastry shop where there were others waiting for different tours. Another van came in with 10 people already in it and me and 2 other passengers were told this is our tour so we went in and started. We went down south passing my hotel so I was surprised why I was driven first north but this was not a big deal. The van itself was not really comfortable for 13 people and was of the type that it is pretty hard to go in and out of the 3rd and 4th rows, it is more like for a quick trip to the airport. We went to downtown and were dropped in front of the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe and were told we have 10 min and not to go anywhere else. In 10 min driver came back and we drove to a nearby jewelry store to use the bathrooms and probably purchase something in it. We were there about 10 min or so and then hopped on the van and drove to the mountains. The road as you can expect is pretty rough, there are some nice places along the way but we did not stop anywhere. I was expecting to stop at least on one point where we can take some nice pictures from the coast line and this was disappointing. Next stop was in a coffee shop in the mountains. I did not catch where we were as the guide was pretty bad in my opinion and was not giving almost any information. 10 of the passengers were Spanish speaking and 3 English, so he tried to speak both when he did explain something, mostly speaking Spanish, additionally he did not have a microphone and I can hardly hear him on the last row of the van. The stop at this coffee shop was pretty meaningless if you ask me. After that we went down the hill to a river with a zip line on top, so my guess is it could have been the Canopy river but not sure. We stayed there 10 min to take photos but I really did not find this place very interesting. I asked aren't we going to the beach and the guide was surprised and said this tour does not visit a beach. After that we went to a nearby restaurant and had lunch. It could have been paid initially when you book the tour so let the guide know as there is some restriction what you can order in this case. After lunch we drove to a close by tequila distillery where we were explained the process of manufacturing and had a tasting. This was the highlight of the tour and it lasted maybe 20-30 min max with us wondering around and shopping. After that we drove back about 50 min again without any stops along the coast and I was the first dropped at my hotel. Overall I'm very disappointed, the description was misleading. we did not have any time to walk in downtown or Malecon passing by on the road next to it we stopped for 2 min to see it only without getting out of the van as it is not allowed to stop on the street there. It should be changed to something like - visit to the church, a river zip line and tequila distillery. Viator should work with the provider so they offer accurate itinerary for this tour. I would not recommend this tour based on my experience.
