The catalina island is the best excursion for the snorkeling lovers,in a air conditioning bus with a tour guide going to la romana port,there you will take a Catamaran to go to the Catalina island.

The beach at Catalina Island is beautiful and offers you the chance to snorkel right from the beach in the "aquarium." You can swim, relax in beach chairs and explore the beach. You will stay at the beach for 3 hours, with provided drinks and snacks to better enjoy the Caribbean paradise. Sometimes guests get the opportunity of seeing some amazing marine life around Catalina Island.

Lunch is served and after the lunch you can join the guided tour through the butterfly gardens, the rainforest trail and the reptile house. You will learn about some amazing wonders of nature!

The island was very nice. First you take the boat to a good snorkling spot. Afterwards you go to the beach of Catalina Island. You better don't do it when you're seasick. But I won't recommand the tour because we had to take several busses and it took about 5 hours on the bus. Too much waiting time.
