Our driver/guide, Baldwin was amazing. Not only he took us to a couple of attractions that were not initially included in the tour, but he also shared tips with us and offered samples of local delicacies and drinks. Very nice tour, well organised!

The tour guide was on time, communicated well, and organized our day so we would have the best weather possible at each stop. This meant we went to the waterfalls later in the day when the rain started and got to see some sun while at the beach. I really appreciated the foresight and flexibility!

From sun to rain to sleet to hail. From glaciers to black sand, waterfalls to sheep, horses to desolation, an interesting, lovely day with beautiful music and just enough information. Our guide had a wealth of knowledge and an even better dry sense of humor. Just the right size group and a wonderful way to end our three days in Reykjavik. As a travel agent and tourist, I highly recommend this tour.

Rather than doing the standard geyser tour we opted for this one - and so glad we did. despite hardly seeing the sun (it was January) this was a great trip. The waterfalls are very impressive and visiting the glacier whilst it was snowing was special and for me I loved our lunch stop on the black sand beach - make sure you walk along towards the stacks - the powerful sea broke the tranquillity of this monochrome landscape. We had an excellent driver / guide - and just about long enough at each stop (but we were always last back on the bus!)

Our guide Gusti was awesome. He was very informative, funny and a safe driver. He gave us the perfect amount of time at each stop and a good amount of information about everything mixed with some nice Islandic music along the journey in-between educating us on facts, history and interesting tidbits.Great Guide and would love to do another tour with him.

My son (15 years old) and I did this tour while in Iceland and it was the highlight of our trip. The natural wonders that we saw and the genuine, friendly tour guide (an owner of the company) was one of my best travel experiences to date. Your Day Tours was the BEST!!!

We hit the major sites on this South Coast Tour. Iceland is very beautiful. Gusti did a fine job providing history/stories at each site as well as information on the Icelandic people, language and foods. He also made sure we had a great time with safety in mind. We picked this tour because of the smaller number of people, which turned out to be just perfect. Also, with this tour, we were picked up/dropped off at a location that was within walkiing distance to our Airbnb. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

The South Coast has some of the most beautiful scenery of my trip. The trip from Reykjavik while about 2 hours seemed shorter due to all the available places to see while driving. Our tour driver was Oskar. He was knowledgeable and professional. We saw waterfalls, black sand beaches, glacier, and other. The pace of the tour was perfect. Be prepared to walk and climb stairs if you want to enhance your experience and get to the top of the waterfalls or behind it. While all was beautiful and the experience was superb I have two negatives; one was how Oskar decided to drive and constantly look at his phone for texts, which I found reckless and dangerous while he was driving. The second is that the bus seat was too small for me and I could not fit in my seat. I am 180 pounds, and 6'3" and my legs were hitting the seat in front of me which was very uncomfortable. I was lucky that I was able to sit in the front seat which fit me well. There was another passenger that had the same problem. I had already take 3 other tours in the same type of buses and did not have any problems with my seat. Overall it was a great experience that you should not miss.

Thanks to Viator and Sif for the great adventure to the South Coast. Viator was gracious enough to accommodate the pick up place and time. Sif was our driver and our tour guide...and she did it all wonderfully. I was lucky enough to see an Arctic fox from the bus, and learned many things about the Icelandic culture, history and geoscience. I would highly recommend Viator travels to anyone who would not mind listening to tour guide's narrations for the love of learning as well as exploring the beauty of Iceland.

This tour gets you a lot closer to the majesty of Icelandic landscape that the more standard tours. Plus, our guide, Gusti, was amazing. It was like getting to know the people, their humor, point of view, emotions...he was terrific. Don't miss this tour.

Bjiorn was young and energetic! He gave us a lot of interesting information along the way. The black sand beach was a highlight of the day!

We traveled to Iceland with 3 other couples and one of the couples selected this tour of the South Coast. My husband and I have been to Iceland 5 other times but never taken the South Coast. Our tour guide Sleini was outstanding, He was very knowledgeable of the landscape as well as he kept close watch of the weather so that he could sequence the tour to the best advantage of the weather which kept changing. I would highly recommend him as a guide and this tour!

This was an excellent tour from start to finish. All of the stops were amazing of course, despite the rain! On the tour Björn led an informative, humorous commentary full of Icelandic culture and history. The landscape is as breathtaking as you'd expect and pictures really don't do it justice, have no doubts with booking this tour, we saw a lot in a short space of time and got a feel for Icelandic culture and tradition around Christmas.

This company knows how to treat their clients. This was a ten hour trip well considered and carried out with great professionalism and, at the same time in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. All our stops were in magnificent places and our guide managed to get to each one before the crowds, enabling us to savour the grandeur. He also took us off the beaten track to enjoy a less commercialised site where coaches couldn’t get to!The benefits of a small group excursion were great and we were so pleased we used Your day Tours.By the way, the Icelandic snack was a lovely touch!

We were in Iceland for barely 72 hours. This tour was a great way to see the countryside and a few of the highest priority sites. The guide provided expert information as well as humor and personal experiences of being raised in the area. He kept an intermittent narrative going that filled the drive time between sites with interesting stories and insights. We downloaded the music played during the trip on Spotify when we got home. It's really good. We booked our hotel via a different website doing a search of Reykjavik. The search led us to a hotel in Hafnarfjördur which unbeknowst to us is an hour away! One of the owners of the tour company had his dad pick us up and take us to the tour meeting site so we wouldn't miss the tour. The local bus didn't leave early enough and the cab fare was very expensive. The traffic was very heavy and slow. We very much appreciated the extra effort and time to make sure we were included.

Gusti was our guide and he was awesome. He really had lots of interesting comments and stories to share about Iceland. I love that we got so much information. He gave us a snack of a drink and smoked lamb. I don't think I would have tried the lamb otherwise. It was a great experience from Your Day Tours. As always I wish we had longer at most stops, but to see as much as we did I understand the timing. Keep up the good work.

Our guide, Giusti (spelling ?), was very good. In addition to showing us the sites on the South Coast, he also provided a great deal of information about living in Iceland. It was a very worthwhile tour.

We visited the Golden Circle and the Blue Lagoon with our Viking extension after a cruise up Norway's coast. Reading other reviews I realized that it wasn't enough. We booked this South Coast Full Day Tour from Reykjavik and are we glad we did. We felt this was more interesting than the Golden Circle but it is a longer ride. Our guide provided a lot of information while we drove. This may be hard with small children due to the time in the van and the subject matter of the information. We enjoyed it and found it informative.
