Your tour begins at 12pm when your guide picks you up at your Reykjavik hotel. Travel on the Golden Circle to your first stop, Thingvellir National Park.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004, Thingvellir is home to the world’s oldest existing parliament established in 930 AD. Explore the natural wonders and see the largest lake in Iceland.

Next, visit Geysir and Strokkur, examples of the raw power of Icelandic nature. Geysir is a geothermal field that’s the remains of an old volcano. Strokkur is an extremely active geyser that erupts every 5-10 minutes.

The final stop is Gullfoss, named the Golden Waterfall due to the rainbows that offer golden colors above the gorges on days with good weather. Feel the mist as you get close to the waterfall and watch the glacier water rush down.

Finally, it’s time to chase the Northern Lights. Sit back and relax as your guide drives to the best location to view the spectacle for the night. Watch the vibrant colors dance in the sky before driving back to Reykjavik for drop-off back at your hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Adam was very personable and gave a great tour. He is very knowledgeable of Iceland and the attractions we visited. He went out of his way to accommodate us and our 5 year old grandson. We had a wonderful experience viewing the northern lights and Adam took us to some excellent viewing sites. We would highly recommend Adam to anyone coming to visit Iceland.

We had an amazing time seeing the sights of the Golden Circle. The tour guide, Adam, was brilliant at finding the Northern Lights. He really persevered to find them. Amazing sights!

We had a wonderful day and evening with our tour guide Adam. I would definitely pick this tour over a big bus or minivan tour because were able to go where the other vehicles cannot go. It was limited to 6 people but we were the only 2 that day so we had a private tour! Adam was very friendly and went out of his way to make sure we had a wonderful experience. We felt like old friends by the time the tour was over. He is very knowledgeable about the history and all the sites we visited. We saw where the tectonic plates meet (and a scene from Game of Thrones), a geyser and a magnificent waterfall. Based on the interests of the passengers, he is able to add stops that would interest the group. Adam was persistent in finding the Northern Lights. We started off-road on a mountain top where he used to his camera to check for any activity. Then as we travelled the roads with Adam constantly checking the skies, he found them! What a magnificent sight as the lights danced for us. An amazing day! Take any of his tours and you will not be disappointed.

What an experience! Adam our guide was fabulous and the sights just fabulous. Adam was so good at finding the Northern Lights. He knew just what to look for and where the viewing was the best. As we viewed the sights of the Golden Circle he was so helpful in making sure our trekking was safe and as comfortable as possible.

We cannot recommend this tour enough. My family of four ages 36, 39, 60, and 66 had the best time with Adam. By the end of the day, we felt like Adam was an old friend. He provided us with warm beverages throughout the day and had crampons available, so we could hike some icy terrains. Not only did he show us beautiful sites, but he did everything possible to show us the northern lights, which was on all of our bucket lists. Obviously it's up to mother nature and we realized we only had one shot as we were there only one night, but he was patient and determined for us to see this miracle of nature. He kept stopping to take photos to see even the barest hint of the northern lights that wasn't yet visible to the human eye and then would drive us toward it for the best view as it, hopefully, continued to form and become stronger. He kept doing this, taking us on roads that weren't even on new maps anymore, just to maximize our chance of seeing this. He was able to do this because of his customized super jeep. It seats a maximum of 6 guests, but he told me that when we booked, he went ahead and closed the date off to additional bookings, so that we wouldn't be paired with another couple and have to fit cozily with strangers. I don't know of another proprietor who would forgo potential revenue for the comfort of another customer. Adam is a great photographer as well and was able to capture amazing shots of us with the northern lights in the background. If you can make a trip to Iceland, take one of Adam's tours, you will not be disappointed.
