Votre visite historique de Rome et du Vatican commence au Colisée, où vous retrouverez votre guide et votre petit groupe de 15 personnes maximum. Muni de votre entrée exclusive permettant d'éviter les files d'attente, vous vous rendrez tout droit dans l'arène sportive la plus ancienne du monde. Écoutez les récits poignants sur les gladiateurs et les martyrs, et découvrez pourquoi ces hommes étaient considérés comme des demi-dieux par les Anciens Romains.
Ensuite, continuez jusqu'au Forum Romain voisin, une plaza gouvernementale, autrefois cœur battant de l'empire romain. Plutôt que de se mêler à la foule de l'intérieur du Forum, votre guide vous emmènera à un superbe point panoramique offrant des vues sur le Sénat et le Temple des Vierges Vestales. Écoutez les récits sur la première guerre mondiale, la politique, l'économie, et la religion ayant marqué la ville antique tout en imaginant de quoi avaient l'air ces ruines il y 2 000 ans.
Poursuivez votre promenade dans la Rome antique avec une visite du Panthéon, qui abrite la plus grande coupole en béton non renforcée au monde. Après une pause déjeuner (à vos frais), vous monterez à bord d'un taxi ou d'un bus en direction de la cité du Vatican. Votre guide local vous accompagnera pour vous veillez à ce vous preniez le bon mode de transport. Une fois sur place, évitez les foules à l'extérieur et rendez-vous directement à l'intérieur avec votre forfait tout compris. Tour was great. You need the "skip the line" tour. It is worth it!! I went during August, so it was hot, but just bring water and comfortable walking shoes.

Informative tour for those who may only have one full day in Rome; but be prepared to walk all day! Extremely hot when we toured so lots of sweating and hydration is a must.

This is definitely the tour to take if you want to see Rome in a day! Our guide knew so much and always made sure we were having fun! We got skip the line access to everything it said! The gelato was a plus as well!

It was raining and cold when we participated the tour on April 29. The program was good and well organized but I think they should pay attention to the weather and be prepared more when it is bad. The guide was too concentrated on the content to take care of total confort of the costomers. Bad weather is not their fault but they should offer umbrellas or ponchos to prevent their costomers get soaked when it is heavily rain. I don't think it is worth to the cost in total.

Our tour guide, Ettiore (? he said like "Hector") was absolutely incredible. It rained during our walking tour from start to finish, but it did not dampen his spirit. He was exceedingly knowledgeable, whitty, funny, and kept the group on task without being pushy. The sites were magnificent, and the experience was made special by our guide's remarkable knowledge of the cultural, political, and personal history of involved persons from antiquity pertaining to each location. Seeing the city in this way was fantastic - a real treat, and we highly recommend this service. If you are deciding whether or not to book this tour, do it - it was worth every cent. Plenty of opportunities for photos, wonderful sites from ancient Rome and the Vatican, phenomenal guide, and good gelato. TIPS: 1.) Wear comfortable walking shoes. 2.) Pack water and light snacks. 3.) Take an umbrella or poncho and spare socks if there may be rain.

This was an amazing tour! Our guide was very versed in history. When she spoke she painted a picture in your mind as to how life was like 2,500 years ago. She brought a notebook with her so that she could show you how the Colosseum would have looked. She had an art degree and was very knowledgeable about the artwork in the Vatican. It was hot and I was grateful to walk right up front and not have to wait three hours in line to get into the Vatican. On the way from the Colosseum to the Vatican she pointed out other historical buildings and gave history on those as well. This was excellent money spent!!!! Highly recommend this tour!
