Retrouvez votre guide et votre petit groupe de 15 personnes ou moins à côté du kiosque à revues en face de la station de métro Colosseo, qui est juste en face de l'entrée de l'impressionnant Colisée. Évitez les longues files d'attente avec votre billet coupe-file inclus, et rendez-vous directement à l'intérieur du plus grand amphithéâtre jamais construit pour explorer son premier et deuxième étage avec votre guide.
Ensuite, partez vers le Forum romain pour découvrir le centre commercial et politique de l'empire. En chemin, vous passerez à côté des sites tels que le colossal Arc triomphal de Constantin, la dernière demeure de Jules César, et le Temple des Vestales : un temple servi par six vierges vestales qui ont été accusées de la tâche peu enviable de préserver la moralité de la Rome antique.
Enfin, vous gravirez la colline du Palatin pour écouter la légende de Rémus et de Romulus, les fondateurs mythologiques de Rome, et apprenez comment le mot « palais » a en fait tiré son originaire à cet endroit. Vers la fin de la visite, vous saisirez plus que jamais l'importance de ce grand empire déchu, et des personnages qui ont joué un rôle crucial dans le façonnement de l'histoire.
Votre excursion se termine à l'intérieur du Forum romain.

Le Colisée a modifié sa politique d’admission pour faire en sorte que seules 3 000 personnes soient admises dans l’amphithéâtre à tout moment, ce qui signifie beaucoup moins de monde en période de pointe. Bien que nos billets soient pré-réservés avec un accès coupe-file, cela peut entraîner un léger retard à l’entrée si la capacité est déjà atteinte. Nous nous attendons à ce que le nombre de cas en question soit limité, mais nous vous prions de faire preuve de patience si vous voyagez pendant une journée chargée et que vous êtes affecté par cette circonstance inévitable. En tout, cela devrait offrir une expérience beaucoup plus agréable pour tous (et des lignes d'accès plus longues!).
Le Colisée est sujet à des fermetures occasionnelles. Veuillez nous fournir les coordonnées détaillées au cas où nous aurions besoin de reprogrammer votre visite.

It was a great tour and our guide, Jaber was very informative and interesting!! He showed us maps of how it would have looked in the past and was truly interested in what he was doing. He also kept checking that we were all present an would wait for us and kept trying to keep us in the shade if possible as it was 30 degrees celcius.

We toured early in the morning at 8:30 am so it wasn't too busy and we skipped all lines with zero wait times-even through security. We lucked out and ended up getting a private tour as the other party booked for the small group did not show up. Our guide was very professional and knowledgeable. He encouraged us to ask questions as much as we wanted. Vincenzo was his name. Great guide and memorable tour.

Mauro the tour guide was fantastic, enthusiastic and knowledgable. Worth every penny skipping the queue and also worth going early, mid August is warm! Would definitely recommend.

GiGi our guide made this a very interesting and informative tour. His knowledge of this venue was very impressive and his warmth and friendliness, referring to each person by their first name made it all very special. I would highly recommend this tour.

Our guide was Mr T- he was superb! We were a group of 5, with one 10 year old. The guide was most informative and kept us entertained, we learnt a lot! I am really glad I did the tour. Highly recommend it.

Would recommend to anyone. Our guide, Phelix was tremendous. The group was met on time at the instructed spot. We went on a day where there was the National period where Italy's citizens were encourage to visit these spots for free, so the skip the line advantageous were not present, but Phelix handled with poise and got us through quickly, and spoke the whole time in line, providing great insights to history of Rome, the area, the leaders, what occurred and made the fact that the skip the line advantages weren't present, irrelevant . The 2 1/2 hour tour was enjoyable because of the guide, Phelix, his knowledge of history, his ability to speak English was just excellent. And he has just a great great personality. Would recommend this tour to anyone, and if you are fortunate enough to have Phelix as your guide, all the better. I love history, and Phelix exceeded my expectation with his constant background to the history of everything, brought it alive!
