The places visited were incredible. Valentina definitely was a great guide - definitely thought about the group and what they needed. Only issue was the crowded venues.
Our tour guide (Catherine) was very knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, and energetic. She managed to get us into each attraction (Church on the Spilled Blood, The Hermitage, Peterhof) quickly. We would never have been able to visit so many interesting places without this tour. She also found us a good and authentic place for lunch, answered lots of questions, and had many great stories about the city and its history. A great success!
Our Guide Tatiana and Driver Alexei were awesome and made our first visit to St. Petersburg a very memorable experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.
The tour itself was great, however VIATOR misinformed us, they said that there was no waiting whatsoever and that the tour would go ahead without anywaiting....that was B.S. we waited over one and a half houir in line, behind thousand of passengers, lining up freezing weather, it was snowing and the wind was howling 35 knts p/h, The bus did not have a toilet and the passengers were realy The blame should go toVIATOR that misguided the tour operatorupset as the wanted to go to the washrooms.
fabulous experience and fabulous guide. we saw all of the important sights and even missed the crowds at peterhof palace. wonderful local place for lunch; time for shopping and walking in the historical areas. our guide was very knowledgeable and the tour was so very wonderfully personalized. we enjoyed it greatly.
I love this tour! Our guide Victoria was awesome and very informative. It was all that I expected except that we didn't really have time for lunch. It was a one day tour but we were only given 15 min. and by the time we went back to the cruise ship we were not only exhausted but starving as well.
Our guide sorry I forgot his name was one of the kindest persons I met. Half way our tour, one of the couples in our tour got a text from their son who got sick at the ship. So they decided to leave the tour early. Our tour guide was so kind to assist them on the way back to the ship with the help of the tour driver they were able to go back safely and fast. But of course this incident cost our trip to be late on our itinerary. With the kindness of our tour director, he extended our tour beyond our allotted time so we can see all the places that we're supposed to visit. Our tour guide has so much knowledge with so many information he knows about this tour. He also took good care of us by frequently reminding us to be careful of our belongings. And he was so kind to pay for all of our bathroom use because none of us have Russian money to pay for the bathroom use. He is such an amazing tour guide.
It was a very good tour for the cost. Let me tell you exactly what happened. Our Cruise dropped us at morning 7 but there was a massive queue due to a computer problem in the immigration which took 2.5 hours for us to complete immigration. They were waiting for us outside. Be warned though, if you are the first person to go out and meet the tourer, then you would have potentially waited for 2.5 hours until everyone arrives for their tour our your had 14 people and we were the last but one. The tour was excellent and covers the major spot including Hermitage museum covers the entry fee as well. Our tourer Katherine alias Kat was brilliant as well. A very recommended tour.
