Wow! The panoramic views are almost beyond description, and that's before getting to Hallstatt. A lot of his (sitting) to.e in a round trip but everywhere there was great scenery ... Think of it as Vermont and New Hampshire on steroids. The town of Hallstatt was quite pretty, the overlook a definite must do at additional cost of 13,50 Euro. Even in September, plenty of international tourists (apparently a big attraction for Chinese your groups).

Hallstat was beautiful. As a bonus, the scenery on bus trip there was fabulous. The countryside and the houses looks like it has been manicured. The tour guide, Richard, was bright and cheery, full of interesting facts and very easy to understand with very good English. If I could offer some constructive criticism, please add another 30mins to the stay. This would allow for a boat cruise. But overall, very enjoyable.

This is a sweet little lake side town that is just lovely!!! There's several things to do and because of that I would recommend more than 2.5 hours. That's why it's only four stars!!

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour to Halstatt and the view far above the township. Our tour guide was excellent and we highly recommend this tour.

Wolfgang our guide and our driver were excellent and gave many insights on the tour. Tour was promoted as "Panorama" but for those of us on lower level of our double decker bus it was not so much! They should probably charge 2 different prices for customers based on which level. Hallstatt is beautiful and the Skywalk worth the extra money

Visiting Halstatt was on our bucket list since we first saw a picture of the town on our TV screen saver. It was beautiful and we really enjoyed our tour. We were staying in Munich so took the train to Salzburg to participate in the tour. Thank you to the two Wolfgang’s, our tour guide and our bus driver for a wonderful day!

Hallstatt is an absolutely charming little town in a glorious setting. Our tour guide was very informative, entertaining and a little cheeky which provided some laughs. We had plenty of time to explore Hallstatt and the tour guide made sure we knew all the best vantage points on the sky walk, especially considering it was a rainy day with limited visability. Wonderful day!

Really nothing to see at Hallstatt. Only going up the funicular for a view. Ot.herwise only shops and restaurants. Really surprised people give it a 4 star. Don't recommend..

Loved this little town and glad we went! Yes, it's a bit of a drive but the scenery and atmosphere was worth it! We didn't do the observation deck but had a nice lunch with million dollar view and bought gorgeous handmade ceramics from a local shop. Our guide was nice and informative.

Gorgeous day in Hallstatt so pretty wonderful, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative. The tour didn't allow as much time in Hallstatt as we would have liked, but did allow us time to rent a boat in order to get some great pictures of the area from the water, to have lunch waterfront in a great cafe, and get a feel for the need to come back for a more extended stay.

The trip should be longer. Not nearly enough time in Hallstat. The guide suggested buying the funicula ride to the top. Took for ever to get up there long line to get on. Bus arrived 15 min late so we only had 1 hour and 45 min..Should advise visitors that most vendors there only take cash. Didn't get to eat anything due to not enough cash. No time to go to restaurant. Really wanted to go to the church and catacombs. No time. Beautiful place!

The tour cost covered only transport to and from Hallstatt. No guided tour around Hallstatt once there, only free time. Coach, driver and guide all excellent, was just disappointed there were not any inclusions eg Furnicular ticket. Not even a bottle of water, which had to be paid for. And tips expected at the end. Hallstatt itself is extraordinarily beautiful and worth seeing but this was an expensive way to do it.

Everything went without a hitch, the trip and commentary was really good as was the magical time in a most beautiful location. We sat by the lake with food and drink at a lovely little restaurant and let the world slip by for a few hours

Its hard to go wrong when you're going to one of the most picturesque spots in Europe on a perfect weather day. The guide was knowledgeable and gave a detailed account of the area on our trip from Salzburg to Hallstatt. The coach was comfortably air conditioned and clean. The guide was informative about options on what to do with our free time in Hallstatt.

We loved our experience and had a wonderful time. The pick up was right on time on a very comfortable and not crowded bus and our tour guide and driver were excellent! Very scenic drive and Halstatt was just amazing! We had about 2.5 hours in Halstatt which was just enough time to see the beautiful town and have a nice lunch and a beer while enjoying the scenery. Highly recommend! ~A
