Excursion d'une journée à Capri et à la grotte bleue au départ de Sorrente

What a busy hectic day, and talking to the guides we had, it’s like this every day. Giovanni was awesome, very organized, helped us skip the line to take the chairlift to the top of the island (which was well worth it for the brilliant views). The visit to Capri was short, but more time was spent in Anacapri, which is we here the lunch, chairlift and Blue Grotto were all accessed from. The day was perfect and we were able to get into the Blue Grotto after lunch, which was awesome. In amongst all the chaos of the island itself, Saschen and Giovanni were very organized and made the day very enjoyable.

this is by far the worst tour I have had with Viator, I want to get money back if it is possible I don't even know how to start with it is an all day tour and the tour guide didn't do much, he dropped off the group in different point of interests in the island and then disappeared the group just walked around and regroup after 45 minutes or so, we simply repeated this a few times and that's it I have realized many of the recent 1 star reviews about this tour, and I don't understand why Viator didn't do anything about it

We were told to meet at 10:15 but then had to wait 45 minutes for all the other participants to arrive on the coach from hotels. We had been led to believe the tour was in English but it turned out to be in English, Spanish and German. The jetfoil was in fact the main ferry to the island - no skip the line, we had to queue up with everybody else to get on board. We eventually arrived on Capri around 11:40. We went swiftly to a smaller boat to head out to the Blue Grotto - we were told by the guide that we had to wait our turn to go into the Grotto in the rowing boats, it was not clear how many boats were ahead of us and we appreciated how lucky we were to experience the Blue Grotto but we did not expect to have to sit bobbing up and down for almost two hours before we eventually were able to go into the Grotto - by this time many people were feeling unwell on the boat. Returning to the island we were herded onto two minibuses - one for English speakers and the other for Spanish speakers for the drive up to Anacapri. We were directed into a restaurant for a very substandard meal and then were told by the guide that we had just one hour to explore the island before we had to meet up to catch the jetfoil back to Sorrento. It was very disappointing that we had to spend so much time waiting around, which meant that we had no time at all to see Capri town and barely any time to see Anacapri - for the cost of the tour it was certainly not value for money and we would not recommend it.

We had a great time on this tour. I actually did this tour last year as well but this time the Grotta Azzurra was open. Sasha was great and a great tour guide. We had a sensational time. This time I got to to see the famous rocks from a hill after taking the sky ride to the other side from Anacapri. The Grotta Azzurra was great and the line wasn't that bad even though it was July. The ride itself is about 4 minutes but still very memorable. Sasha knew what time was best for us to get there. When we arrived to Capri, we went to Anacapri first. We also had lunch included in Anacapri and all transfers. Overall, we had a great time.

We were lucky enough to get to the blue Grotto and enjoy Capri, which was amazing . We probably would have preferred a small group tour for the Grotto and Capri. We were surprised to find ourselves on a huge ferry with lots of others. Which at times we were worried about getting lost or finding the meeting points on time.
