This is a great excursion to end your trip in Venice or as a special treat for a loved one. I bought this a surprise for my Husband's birthday. The Ride itself was very good and felt relaxed. I chose the Evening Option as we could watch the sunset. The Venetian restaurant was delicious the waitress was friendly and the food came out on time and we both loved the food. I would recommend this

I booked this for my best friend's 50th birthday surprise and also for my Husband and I separately. I read previous reviews and took pot luck as there were more positive than negative reviews but none of us were disappointed. It was amazing and really romantic, our Gondalier was brilliant (we didn't ask him to take photos, we managed ourselves) however he did sing and told us about interesting buildings we passed, we went down the Grand Canal too, we were also out slightly over 30 mins so wasn't cut short at all. We found our restaurant and also wasn't disappointed, we went for lunch, the food was lovely and the waitress was brilliant, brought a desert with a candle and made a fuss. Nothing was too much bother, they even swapped food for myself as I didn't like any main course (fussy eater). This trip was worth every penny. Thank you viator yet again you don't disappoint.

Luca was a wonderful gondolier. Despite the rain he took us earlier than our originally booked time. It was a wonderful ride in the quiet Canada's of Venice. He told us of various buildings as we glided past. A wonderful experience we missed out on our first visit several years ago. Can't say enough! Restaurant was also very nice. Good atmosphere, food and service.

Gondolier never spoke to us but he talked non-stop to everyone we passed by on land or on another gondola. We were told we would each receive a slit of prosecco. It it was never offered or given. Marco Polo restaurant was tasty we were satisfied with their service and food.

I really enjoyed this tour and felt that it was a good value considering it included the gondola ride and dinner. Gondola ride was about a half hour and we had a small taste of the grand canal with most of our time being on the smaller, quieter canals which I liked. We chose the heavier dinner option, Marco Polo restaurant, and the food was great! The waitress was really helpful, restaurant was quaint and you got a decent amount of food including an appetizer, 2 courses and dessert. We only had one day in Venice so this was a nice combo tour that gave us an opportunity to enjoy a classic gondola ride and some venetian food! I was on my honeymoon and I would highly recommend this tour for other couples visiting Venice since the gondola ride is private, just the two of you, and the restaurant is small and intimate.
