This was the tour i found that was a littel more expensive then te other ones but was a private tour, and it was super worht it. Smaller group of about 20 people, smaller boat but less crowded. Spent quit enough time on both islands and was able to enjoy the view very much. Guide was great and had a lot of good information to give, very interesting. Best option to visit these two islands

Was informative and beautiful! The Burano lace factory was interesting but not as dramatic as the glass experience. Would have wished for another 45 minutes on Burano. It did feel a bit rushed and we really did not have a lot of time for lunch and also any shopping

A knowledgeable guide who enabled us to gain insights into glassmaking and lace making. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Luckily the weather cooperated and we thoroughly enjoyed our boat ride and visit to Murano and Burano. Interesting demo of glass and lace making. Guide made it interesting with stories of the history of the area. Would have liked time to visit the glass museum on Murano but a good tour nonetheless.

Our tour guide was so knowledgeable about venice and the outlying islands. We had a private boat and a small group. We took 6 tours and this was the best.

This was a great experience while in Venice. Alex, our guide did a wonderful job giving us the history and telling engaging stories about Venice, the areas surorunding it and Murano and Burano. He made great lunch suggestions and gave great detail to the architechture on the islands. The weather was incredible and I know that added to our experience as well!!!

This tour was terrible. The tour guide was unhappy, angry and anxious during the whole tour. She was on her mobile most the time and looking stressed. The Murano Island was not enjoyable. We spent the whole time in a shop after seeing a 5 minute presentation and the rest of the time walking in the shop that was overpriced. We were not allow to walk in the island or shop anywhere else. Then, we went to Burano Island and also we were taken into a shop to watch a 2 minute presentation of how to do lace and they they try to sell us table cloth and other things that were very expensive. In this island we had a bit of tme to walk around by ourselves and this was the best part. The tour guide did not provide any information about anything. We regreted to be in this tour as we could have got a taxi to both islands and spend as much time as we wanted. The worst excursion of the 20 tours we booked during out Italy trip.

We took this tour on 7/11/18. It was such a relaxing day! Murano and Burano are beautiful! Highly recommend this tour!

The Murano island part of this tour was good, the glass demonstration was the best part. The guide and boat were good The houses on Burano island are worth seeing but we were led into a lace shop. A very disappointing 5mins demonstration. They then proceeded to try and sell different types of lace.

This is both, an informative and relaxing trip. The 'glass experience' on Murano was very interesting and there is also time to explore both islands with a most impressive church on Murano. The islands aside - there are plenty of insights into life in Venice and beyond. Time and money well spent!

To start the tour, we had to meet the guide near San Marco. She had no sign or any indication that she was the guide but we stood near a group that turned out to be the Viator group. It was hard to follow her without a flag or sign like the other guides had she replied it was not necessary although there were more than 20 of us. I didn't really consider this a small group. The boat ride to Murano and then Burano was fine as was the glass-blowing demonstration in Murano. There are no group activities in Burano, just free time for lunch or shopping. I thought we were going to see a lace factory or making demonstration.

We met our guide near St. Mark's Square in Venice. She collected the group together and rode by boat to Murano island. We entered a small glass factory and had a very good demonstration of item manufacturing. There were many different kinds of glass items there for sale. We had a brief tour of Murano and saw the seventh-century Church of Santa Maria e San Donato. We took the boat to Burano where we went to a small lace store. We saw a demonstration of lace making and had an opportunity to purchase different kinds of lace including table cloths and napkins, table runners, etc. After some free time we boarded the boat and returned to St. Mark's Square. It was a very good tour.
